A couple took their internet modem on a road trip after their kids refused to accompany them
An Australian couple made the decision to take their modem along on a road trip after their three kids refused to come along on their “boring” day.
Cassie and Chris were planning to take their children on an adventure to Warrnambool, Victoria.
But they were quickly shut down with the response ‘that’s so boring, I don’t want to go’.
And thus, in a fun turn of events, Cassie and Adam took their internet router with them instead, and they took pictures with it at the beach, the amusement park, and other exciting locations.
‘Chris and I decided that instead of taking three unappreciative kids out, we let the ones who didn’t want to go stay home and took our most over worked family member for a well deserved day out… our modem,’ Cassie explained.
‘Modem had a fantastic day not being used by the kids and it was lovely not to listen to constant bickering. The only complaining was Evan being mortified that we took our modem out in public.’
The mom of three posted a number of photos from their trip on Facebook, and her post has since exploded with more than 144,000 likes and 61,000 shares.
Many people have described the coupe as “heroes.”
‘Love it… Modem looks so happy on its day off. Wonder how the kids went with their day off,’ Kellie said, with smiley faces.
Monica said: Mine travels with me frequently….and my kids have no phone data either…hahaha
Sara said: ‘Love it looks like modem had a wonderful day living the life.’
Stewart said: Thank you guys for playing a small role in preventing the inevitable zombie plauge that is coming our way from those who have lost the ability to unplug x
And Pam said: ‘You win the internet today, this is the best.’
Other people said they were planning to do the same number on their kids if they refuse to go on a trip with them.
